Douglas Adams (1952 - 2001)
An English humorist and a science fiction novelist

A man of abundant skills, Douglas Noel Adams also known by his initials as DNA was a comic radio dramatist, a novelist and a musician. Widely known for being the author of Hitchikker’s Guide To Galaxy, some of his other works include The Restaurant At The End of the universe and The Long Dark Tea Time Of The Soul.

He was also an active environmentalist and campaigned for the protection of a number of endangered species. He had a profound interest in technology which justifies his being associated with the widely popular game Starship Titanic. He also had a passion for music which is reflected in all his works.
